"The Job's Not Done" Blue Green Alliance Bus Tour Stop and Rally in ABQ

The Blue Green Alliance is staging a nationwide bus tour that will be in Albuquerque to call for comprehensive clean energy and climate change legislation in the fall. The event will feature union members who work in clean energy sectors and advocate for clean energy policies.

WHY: Until we pass federal legislation that limits carbon pollution and accelerates our transition to a clean energy economy, much of New Mexico's vast renewable energy and green jobs potential will remain untapped. The US House passed legislation in 2009, but the Senate has yet to do its part. The Job's Not Done - the Senate must pass clean energy and climate protection legislation this fall!
